A Woman's Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

I know You do exist.
I know You created me. I know You created me for a purpose. You have a perfect plan for my life.
Thank You for that plan. Thank You for loving me. I am forever linked to you.
Father, help me to remember that I was created to be an instrument of pleasure to You.
I want to obey You. Put me in rememberance of Your commandments so that I will do those things that are pleasing in Your sight.
Thank You for helping me to discover my talents & my purpose in life. Thank You for being totally committed to my success.

My mother passed away about seven years ago.

When we moved, a few years after her death, I found a little booklet among my things. The One-Minute pocket Bible for Women. Inside, in her handwriting, the following message:

The blessings of the Lord Jesus for you!

May the Word encourage you when you're down
- assure you of God's love when you feel isolated & lonely
- give you strength when you're tired
- the neccessary information & words when you have to speak
- lead you when you don't know which way to go
- give you wisdom when you have to make descisions
- be there for you when you need a friend
& grant you total & complete healing from this moment,
until Jesus comes...

With all the love that I am capable of.
