About me

I love the Lord with all my heart & soul. Without Him, I'm nothing. His love for me & His Word sustains me, as His child, every day.

He knows my life, my heart & where I stand with Him. He will always be the Love above all else in my life.

About this blog:

As time went by it became "a scripture/thought/prayer a day" blog. Allowing The Holy Spirit to comfort, lead, remind & speak into each individual's life as needed. In my life as well...

May the Lord Jesus bless you & keep you, until we meet Him face to face!

Wow. The miracle of Internet that the entire world is at your fingertips when you cannot get your body to move with your heart.

I admire your choice to be a giver in the midst of pain and loss. And that you have not turned bitter over your hardship.

RE our situation: Ten years of the same behavior from our salon owner. He moved my daughter out of her $100 room, without her consent, into a larger room (he got a new nail tech that had to be vented outside, so that is one reason he took Dot's room), promising her he would only charge her $125 per week.
Our mistake, on that verbal, we both spent $500 modifying and decorating the room for her nail clientle. After that, he met with her to say he needed to charge her full price ($210 a week).
I had confronted both of them before Dot moved, stating my concern they could rent that space for full price to a hairdresser and would they raise her rent. They both assured me NO, they would not do that, they would "take care of her".

Dot has to find another salon. She cannot afford that high rent. I don't know that I have the heart to stay there. This is one incident among countless in the ten years I have been there. I have forgiven them and "started fresh" what feels like a million times. I know I must forgive. But must I stay in the lion's den?

The worse thing is they teach Sunday School. Can you only imagine how the unbelievers roll their eyes at his behavior while he thumps his Bible??

This is a long rant for a comment. You can just tell me to go away!

I pray for a miracle healing for you. . .

Thank you for sharing this. I will never tell you to go away! It must have been very frustrating to deal with this through the years. Sometimes it might be the Lord's way to nudge us in a different direction. I know the idea must be daunting, but what about a place of your own? A 'baby' you can make your own. You are highly professional, creative & have a driving force & motivation like few I have seen. Maybe the Lord will open a better deal for you both somewhere else. He specialises in making the impossible possible. Usually when things like this start to happen, it's time for a new season to begin... Will be praying for you. Keep me posted. -Thanks, I appreciate every prayer! -Have a wonderful, peaceful weekend...

Aren't we glad that we DO NOT know what God has for us? He has a plan and we do not know what it is. We just trust that God knows what is best for us. We need not worry what it is...but we still do worry anyway. I am trying so hard not to. Each day I try to just take it as it comes and not fret about the next day or the next. God does not want that for us if we believe in HIM....
Take care..

Sandy: My illness have also taught me to be more patient & take one day at a time. If that becomes too much, I put my trust in Him from one moment to the next. As you say : HE KNOWS SOMETHING THAT WE DON'T & HE KNOWS BEST

I appreciate your support & care. It's very uplifting. May God bless you for that!
