Thank you for stopping by my blog today and leaving a scripture behind. You know, I come by here often and I wonder - -why scripture and no commentary? I wonder why you chose each verse and what effect it has had on your life.

Disciple: Thanks for the visit. - As time went by, I think it became "a scripture/thought/prayer a day" blog. I allow the Holy Spirit (that still, small Voice) to light up a scripture/thought. Sometimes it might be during Bible study, something I read, a 'Bread of Life' card, a verse that comes to mind. - No Commentary, because I would like the Spirit to speak into each individual's life in a way unique to his/her circumstance. For some it might be a reminder, an inspiration, a comfort, a call to a deeper walk with Him... His Word never returns to Him void. - Of course each scripture has meaning to me as well. With Prov. 15:3 for instance, I was reminded that God sees & knows us each individually & in His own time will reward us, & the good we do will come to fruition in its season. We don't have to feel impatient, or that our efforts vanishes down a 'black hole'. - Thank you! I appreciate your interest. I'm glad this very simple blog evoked some thoughts & questions.

God bless!
